I had been employed via Deel for the last year or so, and while being an employee of Deel, I also worked with Deel as a client, back in the good ol' days when we were able to hire in more than just two countries (🤷‍♀️) I used Deel as a solution to hire talent around the globe. Tiago Mourão was my CSM. I went to Tiago for everything and anything you can imagine: my own personal payroll, questions around immigration and mobility, employer cost, pay & tax, statuary benefits, payslips, candidate questions the list goes on and on. Also, anyone who knows me is totally aware of the fact that I ask WAY too many questions. We very quickly built a great working relationship. There are some main reasons why: Tiago is EFFICIENT, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, a great educator, and has a great sense of humor. It was never any bother to him to jump on a call and spend 20 minutes explaining the same thing to me until my brain got it. Tiago has a calmness about him and is able to very quickly find solutions to what could have been perceived as complex problems. It was always a pleasure working together, and I have learned so much about international hiring through him. Tiago had stopped being our CSM a month before I left my most recent position, as he went on to work a different role at Deel. He had zero obligation to help me at all, but when I reached out on WhatsApp with confusion, Tiago was 100% there to support me. Not only did he look after my offboarding and speed the process up, but he also kept me up to date EVERY SINGLE STEP of the way. Tiago went above and beyond to help me during a very difficult time, and I cannot thank him enough for his efforts. Tiago is a true, client-focused professional. I've never seen a CSM take such a great level of ownership over the success of a client and continuously put in the effort to ensure there's a mutually rewarding partnership.
