  HackerSchool is a students’ group from Instituto Superior Técnico, that follows the learn-by-doing methodology while developing projects on all areas of technology. Being the vice president, it is my job to help and coordinate the Development, Human Resources, Marketing and Communication,Treasury departments and the rest of the group.

  As a member, I worked with HTML and CSS in the making of a basic personal website. After that joined a new project, where I worked with CAD and C++ in the making of a rotating solar panel. In another project i joined, I worked with Kotlin and Java while devoloping an app to control a robot we modeled. This app had some features like a joystick, bluetooth connection and some control modes. The final project where I work involved CAD and eletrical basics. The goal in this one was to build a LED Sign with the shape of the group logo.

  In the human resources team, I planned team-building events and assured everyone was integrated into the team, ensuring a sense of community. I was also in charge of the recruitment process, interviewing people, and analyzing the candidates' profiles.

  For about ten years, I practiced speed skating. Since 5th grade through the end of highschool, always conciliated daily trainings at this high competition sport with good grades. I've participated in the nationals and earned podium positions. I went to European Cups in Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands. In highschool, I joined the team as a couch to children from three to 15 years. It was two additional training sessions, where I teached them how to learn and develop speed skating.
