I provide high quality teaching, including the use of IT and VLE on courses in business and enterprise at Advanced Level and on the Higher Nationals, and on the Award in Education and Training; among my duties is to: - maintain up-to-date course files; - set, mark and return students' assignments on time; - contribute to the internal and external moderation/verification procedures;- contribute to curriculum and quality review processes, providing subject specific expertise; - contribute to curriculum development, design and authoring of curriculum materials and procurement of up-to-date resources to support teaching and learning; - contribute to staff development within the department.I also provide course advice and guidance for students, in order to: - manage and support their applications to university courses, by providing academic references; - provide pastoral 1-1 support, including implementing student management procedures;- act as a liaison person for ALS and tutors working with individual students to ensure their learning needs are met and fully integrated in their ILPs.

I worked for several learning providers as a tutor and/or assessor of employabity skills; ESOL and functional skills; business administration, customer service and retail, to mature first-hand experience of the various possibilities of teaching, training and assessing in further and adult education.Mostly planned, delivered and formatively and summatively assessed on all the qualifications I have delivered; provided individual support and guidance to learners to help overcome their barriers to learning; competed course documentation, course files, group profiles and attendance registers.

Project Manager

We started small, as a social enterprise working to organize events in the local community, and I was responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of business projects to raise multi cultural and inter faith awareness in the local community, in line with the goals of the social enterprise.I planned and organized cultural events, and designed and managed educational programmes in musicand literature, to be delivered in schools of different grades.I oversaw all the operational aspects of every project I managed, including marketing, logistics andresourcing/recruiting professionals whose contribution determined the success of the programmes.
