  •Ensure all work is performed in compliance with standard operating procedures and establish high safety standards. •Data and system management – General graphical & borehole database management, lease with external service provider for validation of all data in all databases, modelling and interpretation of geological models and general & structural, capturing of all logged/ mapped information into required database. •Arrange for, adjudicate and manage the drilling programme. •Management of core logging and sampling of drill core. •Correct capturing and interpretation of geological data. •Preparation of structural plans and ongoing updating. •Management of exploration projects to the stage where the final resource statement is produced. •Routine work such as; Pit logging/mapping, extrapolation and monitor potential/exposed geological hazards. •Liaise with survey and rock engineering department for the updating of the hazard mapping. •Provide Geological input into mine planning and related projects. •Generation of Geological reporting, interpretations, and recommendations for management decision support. •Liaise and ensure resource modelling update using minex geological software by service provider. •Responsible for resource reserve reconciliation process. •Maintenance and development of Geological standards. Budget control and own area management (E.g. ordering equipment, materials etc.) •Panel risk assessment and sampling. •Executing task related to grade control safely as well as initiating and implementing corrective action where applicable.
