  This graduation project examined the "raison d'être" of pop venue the Effenaar in the year 2028. The music industry has always been fickle. But the densely populated Dutch pop podium landscape faces a contemporary challenge. Pop venues have to keep up with the digitalization of the pop industry. In this graduation project, the world of pop venue de Effenaar in 2028 was brought to life by means of the ViP method, trend research, internal and external stakeholder interviews and storytelling. Subsequently, together with the Effenaar a 2028 future vision has been designed. As well as a Roadmap which outlines how in the next 10 years product-service designs can be implemented to ultimately realize the desired future vision.
