Thomas Dewar and I worked together during my tenure as the COO of Lutheran Social Services of NY, where he was an absolute joy to work with. Mr. Dewar served as the Executive responsible for our I/T department, who supported the work of approximately 700 employees who, in turn, served more than 10,000 clients daily. He was the epitome of quiet strength under pressure. Additionally, Thomas Dewar is a phenomenal innovator, who expanded our I/T and systems possibilities, far beyond any scope of which we could ever dream. Under him, we dared to pursue expansion grants that would allow us to amass and utilize cutting edge technologies that helped us to support our clients well. This man is a major asset to any organization with whom he chooses to work.

It is my pleasure to recommend Tom as he is a born leader. As an integral member of a newly implemented three hospital network, Tom hit the ground running and became the main resource for all things IT. In the midst of a chaotic merger within a safety net system, while implementing new EMR, PACS as well as a host of other items, Tom handled all aspects of the many tasks asked of him; even if it was beyond his scope. It is nearly impossible to find team members that will go above and beyond the call of duty and I can tell you that Tom was a refreshing role model that is sorely missed as his leadership and willingness to always get the job done has been inspirational.
