Through its long time experience in Africa and with a fast growing market in the African bottling industry, Crown-Baele has founded Crown-Baele Africa Ltd. as its first overseas office to support our African customers from close by. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Crown-Baele and is located in Accra, Ghana.Crown-Baele Africa represents our activities on the African continent, and aims to provide mainly services and maintenance support to our customers in Ghana and surrounding West African countries, With the first signed SLA's, and the first hired local service engineers, Crown-Baele Africa is on it's way to set it's marks in the area. The shareholders and directors of Crown-Baele appointed me as one of the two directors as i had elaborated the business plan and done the whole preparation, research and incorporation process. Parallel to my job as sales manager of Crown-Baele, based in Londerzeel, I am intensely involved in the management and development of the company. On daily basis, our Area Manager West Africa, based in Accra, is running our office. Show less

The focus is on improving efficiency, not only on the hardware, but also by training and supporting local staff, helping them to achieve higher standards.Scope of tasks :- sales and marketing management- key account management- business development in the regions Africa, SEA and Europe- technical/sales visits to our customers and prospects in our markets- draft, propose and implement maintenance and improvement projects on our customers site- hunter for new opportunities- member of the management teamDuring the last few years, I have built up a broad network within the brewery and beverage industry mainly in Africa but also in South East Asia, which has led to a number of success stories. I gained an expertise in selling and handling projects for improvement, refurbishment and maintenance of bottling lines in 'difficult' countries, working in parallel with the corporate offices as well as directly with the local staff. I believe the key to success is understanding the local ways of working, keeping in mind the demands of the customers, respecting the differences, and motivating the people to gain pride of a 'job well done'.Travelling half of my time throughout Africa, being present at the customer and on the production floor, gave me a good insight on the market, and on what lives in the African bottling and brewing industry, what is needed, and how to provide it.
