I founded Wiser Websites to work predominantly with the hospitality industry creating and implementing digital strategies. My work mostly involves developing bespoke websites and working as an online marketing consultant to improve content management, SEO, PPC, social media overall online presence. In particular making sure the user experience (UX) of interacting with these brands online, is consistent and of the same standard the businesses would maintain in the 'real world'.

Brought in to structure the company’s e-commerce sites (as Senior Online & Marketing Manager) and to build an online team. My main task has been to develop a strategy to leverage the 700,000 users who pass through the company’s sites and order water saving packs every year through our partnerships with large UK Utility companies. ♦ Project managed the build of a fully responsive, bespoke, e-commerce platform to take over from the original collection of legacy websites.♦ Streamlined… Brought in to structure the company’s e-commerce sites (as Senior Online & Marketing Manager) and to build an online team. My main task has been to develop a strategy to leverage the 700,000 users who pass through the company’s sites and order water saving packs every year through our partnerships with large UK Utility companies. ♦ Project managed the build of a fully responsive, bespoke, e-commerce platform to take over from the original collection of legacy websites.♦ Streamlined the company’s 32 e-commerce sites to one main domain with subdomains for white labelled brand sites.♦ Manage an account of 125 domains for feeder pages, non-core products & information sites.♦ Affiliate marketing partnerships with companies including The Energy Saving Trust, MoneySavingExpert.com and 16 UK Utility Companies.♦ Grew email lists from 200K to 378K within last 12 months.♦ Developed and ran a Facebook photo competition in partnership with Waitrose, fronted by Sir David Attenborough, which was featured in two national photo magazines.♦ Manage a team of three staff as well as working with freelancers and agencies including mobile optimizers, graphic designers, copyrighters, photographers and videographers.♦ So far I have trained two final year university students to work as freelancers for the company, one copywriter and one photographer.♦ 9.7% Average CTR from CPC campaign - Google Adwords.♦ 4.2% CTR, 27.3% Opening Rate of email newsletter.
