Tom enjoys the work around the many aspects of both analyzing what the data is, and helping to drive the vision of what the data could be. He has been an asset to our organization in both of these regards along with many other reasons including but not limit to: helping to define the datasets, establishing a data warehouse, and establishing the principles of normalization in our datasets when possible.

I provided various research support roles in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. My primary interest was in data analysis. However, I got to install a computer network for the School of Nursing and manage the growth in personal computers from a start of 15 to near 300 desktop machines. I also designed and managed a database for undergraduate nursing admissions. I taught nursing graduate students how to use SPSS.
