I would help teach and train 25-30 lifeguards the communication skills needed to work effectively on a team. Communication during the day was necessary for the safety of all guest swimming in the pool. With so many people to guard we had to be focused and on the same page at all times, it helped our team keep everyone accountable and maintained top safety for the patrons. I worked as a cashier in store being there to help customers with any questions they had. I handled customer transactions at the register handling, cash, check, and credit/debit cards. When I wasn't with customers I was making sure shelves were stocked on the floor, or checking inventory in the basement or warehouse. If inventory was low I would make note and pass it on to my boss to oder more. Towards the end of season I was following up with customers on service orders and completions making sure they were always satisfied with the work done. Show less
