My responsibilities here include tutoring students in any mathematical subject in which they need help, which involves both working problems with them and illustrating mathematical ideas via visual media (well, actually, via a whiteboard). Thus far, I have tutored in College Algebra, Calculus I, Probability and Statistics, and Abstract Algebra, but I am well equipped to tutor in any mathematical subject taught at Union University.

Software Engineer Intern
-
Jun 2014 - Aug 2014
Henderson, TN I worked as a software engineer on multiple web service projects (which I cannot disclose), but they involved coding in Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and CSS. It also involved setting up server software (namely Apache Tomcat), and testing components of the applications we built via REST clients and database queries. We were a small development team, about eight strong, so we learned to coordinate very quickly with one another. Teamwork was definitely a major part of the job!
