SATCOM ENGINEER

Served in the capacity of a SATCOM engineer in support of the 25thSCTS/SKU, at Schriever AFB, whose mission is to manage the Space Test & Training Range (STTR). Responsible for numerous test and training activities which involved performing a full engineering analysis of signal sets, link budgets, and accurate detection, characterization and recording of the signal environment. SENIOR HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsible for an entire voice communications design and development effort associated with the Minuteman REACT program. The development involved the design and implementation of a digital PAL based analog control and interface system designed to ensure reliable communications between launch facility silos of the Minuteman Missile System. The effort involved the implementation and staging of a cost effective solution with consideration for environmental issues, EMI/EMC/EMP, reliability, post event survivability, FDFI, maintainability, and producability

Responsible for some six in house programs from a technical standpoint. Acting in a project, senior systems, staff, senior staff, and principle engineering capacity, oversaw and developed corrective actions on new and old production equipments from an electrical design and analysis standpoint when major electrical problems arose which effected producability and schedule. Responsible to provide technical support when problem arising exceeded the abilities of the project engineering organization. Responsible for some six in house programs from a technical standpoint.
