Main responsibilities included: Recording all listed building consent notifications and all planning applications affecting conservation areas, scheduled ancient monuments or registered parks and gardens. Liasing with local authorities, amenity societies, and other bodies (public or private) in order to advise on statutory matters relating to listed buildings and conservation areas.
