  In 2008,I brought a taxpayer action on behalf of Californians for a Responsible Budget (CURB) and Legal Services for Prisoner with Children challenging AB 900. AB 900 was a bond measure intended to fund a massive expansion in the number of prison and jail beds in California. Its goal was to build an additional 14,000 prison beds and 30,000 jail beds. The suit was intended to challenging the method of public financing for the initiative, which did not require voter approval. Currently my solo practice is not active. Show less
