Senior Engineer/ supervisor

In this role I was the Lead Technician working as part of a two man crew installing telephone and broadband service to small and home businesses on the virgin media contract. My job role entitles me to carry out pre site surveys to ensure the area is serviceable and the job can go ahead, agree and walk the customer through the safest and cleanest routes to ensure the best installation and best connection possible. The next step was too then rod and rope the cable route to the nearest cabinet on the infrastructure to proof the route and ensure there are no blockages, if there were blockages then we would locate and prove the blockage with photographic evidence and send off the correct forms ready for construction to unblock the route ready for the install, we then carry out the install and ensure all equipment is working.
