I worked as a summer intern for cycle law. My main task was to visit bike shops in Scotland and introduce them to CycleLaw's LEP (legal expensive protection) cards which entitle a cyclist in the case of an accident to free specialist legal representation, free replacement helmet, medical expenses and cycle repairs. I also promoted the Strict Liability campaign which Cycle Law launched, which attempts to change the Civil Law burden of proof, making vehicle drivers automatically liable in the event they are involved in an accident with a cyclist
