At Geolinks Services, we are working at transforming promising academic research toward valuable industrial service in the fields of energy, environment, and ressources exploration and monitoring. At this date, our main project focuses on the use of passive seismic methods for the monitoring of underground natural gas storage sites, following an innovative approach developped at CNRS by C. Voisin, our scientific director. As the principal researcher on this project, I am involved in all aspects of this project from field implementation to data analysis and code/software development. My work at University of Nantes consists of both teaching and research. I teach all levels from 1st year to Master 2 classes in various fields of geosciences. As a researcher, I am working on two projects in parallel. One focused on the conjoint use of passive seismic and electrical methods for hydrogeological characterization, and the second dedicated to studying the potential of the surface nuclear magnetic resonance method for groundwater prospection on Mars. Through this Post-doctoral position, I have been working mainly on three research projects: 1. The main one consists of developing signal processing tools and new methodologies, in order to improve the capacity of the nuclear resonance magnetic method to detect and characterize sub-surface waters. 2. The second one is focused on prospecting natural carbo-gaseous water springs, using electromagnetic methods. This project, on going, goes from geophysical prospection, to drilling, geochemical sampling and possibly installation of an exploitation well. 3. The third one consisted of a specific geophysical prospection campaign, to detect gold veins in atropical context (Cambodia), in partnership with the mining exploration company, Renaissance Mineral Limited.
