Worked as an extra from 1999 until becoming a member in 2003.IATSE has labor contracts with several art organizations that use Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, as well as the ACPA itself. Most hours with IATSE have been on electrics crews. Qualified as electrician, carp, and props. Some experience on the flyline both on ground and on loading rail. Willing to do wardrobe but I have never had opportunity.Was lead electrician/deck elect for the 6 week run of the 2008 tour the Lion King.Electrician and Carpenter for the 2007 technical build of a touring production of "The Man of LaMancha" and was run-of-show on-stage tower spot operator.IATSE also represented me on two feature movies: "The Frozen Ground" and "Big Miracle" where I was a set dresser/swing crew.
