Independent contractor specializing in Investigations and Asset Management, including experience with Facilities. Investigation Professional Responsibilities included physically inspection of targeted bank officers and personnel desks and offices for loan files and sensitive information. Collection of loan files, memos, and related paper work. Scanning of documentation and “boxing up” of all files and documentation. After the initial collection phase, we would have to inventory all boxes and input all information into an Excel spreadsheet in FDIC format. We would then ship off such information to the FDIC or back to the bank. Facilities Professional Responsibilities included meeting with FDIC personnel before a bank take-over to coordinate activities. Worked with security personnel to ensure a safe and secure closing of the Bank. Initially would enter the bank, change locks, inventory all cash, negotiable instruments, physical assets, security systems and work with bank and FDIC personnel make sure the facility was secure and operations where still functioning. After the initial take-over, we would work with other FDIC departments to assist with any facility function. Finishing up the job we would ship out files, equipment and turn over the facility to the remaining FDIC personnel or any bank personnel that took over the facility. Asset Professional Responsibilities included analyzing and re-valuating loans files that the FDIC has taken control over. This included re-underwriting the loan files, contacting the customers, ordering new appraisals, income determination and establishing the value of the loan. The loans are then sold often requiring negotiating with third party lenders to sell the assets. Show less
