Assigned additional duties as the division budget officer responsible for management of a twenty one (21) million dollar annual budget. Contract Officer Representative responsible for oversight of CIAD’s ten (10) million dollar + annual analyst support contract. The contract involves monitoring the production and operations of 54 CONUS and OCONUS contractors. Provide oversight and input on contract development and maintenance, with responsibilities in the yearly budgeting of contract costs. Also assigned as the primary hand receipt holder for the CIAD’s organizational property that amounted to more than two million dollars. Provided recommendation to the CIAD chief to help resolve complex problems and issues for the division in areas ranging from budget spend plans, contact oversight, event coordination, relations across organizational boundaries, inter-agency relations and coordination, international partner relations, and customer needs. Planned organizational and operational programs for the CIAD to enhance and streamline production capabilities and to insure all tasking were met in a timely and appropriate fashion. Collaborated and coordinated CIAD operations across all NGIC directorates. Provided oversight to internal CIAD planning for structure of the division’s branches, meeting all mission requirements, insuring the division functions met customer needs and the staffing of the CIAD fulfilled the division chief’s directives. Responsible for tracking the training needs for CIAD personnel. Monitored the division production to advise the division chief of the accomplishment of milestones and goals. Provide oversight for multiple division projects and programs, developed new methods to accomplish goals and insured all procedures were properly adhered too.

Created detailed CONPLANS and OPLANS for the squadron covering all aspects of a wide variety of tactical operations. Responsible for full collaboration and coordination of the squadron’s operation with higher headquarters and adjacent unit headquarters. Lead all Military Decision Making Process actions to properly incorporate all elements of the squadron staff, committees and working groups.   Oversight for all aspects of convoy security operations for a 650 soldier unit in southern Iraq. Responsible for mission analysis, planning and execution by providing direct leadership for a 20 soldier operations and military intelligence sections. Tasked with making key tactical decisions at the task force level for all operational requirements for multiple convoys operating simultaneously. Directed mission analysis to ensure the task force was able to support all missions directed from higher headquarters. Provided higher headquarters with complete analysis of task force capabilities to allow them to properly plan future convoy operations to support theater needs. This resulted in 250 successful missions in a 5 month period without any serious threat attacks or damage to equipment. The task force was able to successfully secure the retrograde operations in theater and meet all assigned movement timelines. These unit operations directly impacted in the US Forces in southern Iraq meeting all movement deadlines with 100% mission success rate.
