Thomas Engel was employed as an Intern in the Information Technology Systems and Strategic Projects Department of Porsche Cars North America from September 19, 2016 through March 31, 2017. Mr. Engel consistently exceeded expectations and performed all of his duties in a professional manner. During his internship, Mr. Engle developed a methodology that standardized the life cycle of Audio-Visual(AV) systems and associated equipment. Mr. Engel developed preexisting concepts including standardization and central management into a robust enterprise product governing the development, implementation, management and extension of AV services. Mr. Engel refined and expanded the individual project plans into a holistic strategy. In addition, Mr. Engel began the process of implementing the core aspects of the strategy including: preventative maintenance, vendor management, service level agreements, guidelines to standard room configurations, user manuals, customer facing documentation and inventory management (selection of the system, set up, population, automation). Mr. Engel exhibited a determined work ethic, exemplified honesty, and maintained positive working relationships with all colleagues at Porsche.
