My responsibilities;• Full Stack developer for the Novaerus Sensor Portal website.• Web portal was built using C# and AngularJS for an MVC website.• Also developed an Android app for the Consumer based project. This allows the user to remotely change the settings on the device and get information from the sensors to display data.• I also developed a multi-platform mobile app using Xamarin Studio with Xamarin Forms.• I most also maintain the server code and add new functionality to allow for the apps to get information processed on the server rather than on the phone.

ABP Food Group was founded in 1966 and has since become the leading beef provider in Europe with factories in both Ireland and the UK, and many more in mainland Europe such as Poland, Spain, Germany and France.I have developed a few small projects for the use at work. I have developed an application to be used in the production areas of the factory by the supervisors to help their reports. This was made to save time spent creating these reports.My responsibilities;• I am in charge of IT for the factory, both office and production areas.• I must make label designs and alter the labels at the customer’s request.• Recently I had to wire a temporary Porto cabin to the network and connect it via switchboard to the server.• I have done some small programming assignments at work like writing VB script macros in excel.• I had been placed in charge of IT for two separate factories on two separate occasions after only a month training as holiday cover as I was deemed to be a fast learner and adapted well to the workings of the factory.• I have configured PC’s for both office and production use and tailored it for job specific use only.

MPSTOR specializes in the creation of cloud storage solutions. During my work experience at MPSTOR I spent my time testing the performance of the developed software, and developed test scripts to be packaged with the software. This gave me great insight to the project lifecycle as there were many concurring smaller projects that needed testing which were all part of the overall greater project. The project was on a much bigger scale than the projects we had developed during college, that allowed the theory of such projects to be put into a practical application in the real world.I learned alot of new skills from my time working at MPSTOR. I became proficient in programming languages such as BASH and self though myself in the language Python. I am now also able to picture the lifecycle of a large scale project and how a large project is broken up and spread across multiple development teams to come back together at the end.
