Intern
-
Jun 2017 - Aug 2017
I started as an intern with Griffis in June. I had the responsibilities of assisting the community managers and assistant managers with their work as well as shadowing them throughout the day. This included me auditing/editing the communities utility and leasing excel spreadsheets as well as doing file audits to ensure their accuracy and completion. My day to day also included assisting all current residents with any complaints and seeing to their resolution as soon as possible. I also would periodically take potential new residents on tours of the property and show them why our properties were the best place for them. Following the completion of my internship I was offered a part time leasing consultant position until I complete my degree.

I worked for this company as a seasonal worker and because I was still a minor when the season ended I was not allowed to continue my job, do to the fact that Toys R Us rarely highers minors and the fact that I was hired at all was surprising.
