I represent individuals, corporate clients, insurance companies, school districts, and municipalities in employment practices liability, civil rights, commercial litigation, construction accidents, premises liability, product liability, automobile accidents, bad faith, professional liability, toxic tort, and environmental liability. I have won jury trials across the State of Wisconsin. I handle appeals before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.I represent employers in state and federal cases involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, overtime pay and other employment related matters. I assist employers with matters arising under state and federal statutes and regulations such as the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. I represent employers before the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.I represent government entities in civil rights cases, certiorari actions, mandamus actions and other litigation matters.I advise insurance companies on liability and insurance coverage issues. I also represent several large self-insured corporations and entities. I have successfully defended clients in several large complex litigation cases in which the damages claimed against my clients exceeded one million dollars.
