  Have edited short films, a web series, and a feature film. Even if I’m not able to work on a project, I try to watch at least one cut so I can give feedback to the filmmakers. I have either edited these projects from beginning to end or begin working on the project after a rough assembly has been put together. Editing 16mm film helped instill the importance of single frames in me and ensure that my editing is precise and detail oriented as early as the first cut. I have also done file management across multiple drives for the same project making sure that every drive has all the necessary assets and that all the media is being located correctly. Once projects are ready for VFX or sound departments, I have prepared XML, OMF, and AAF files for those later stages of production. I actively push for making editing a collaborative process to ensure that everyone involved is on the same page and I am very open and clear in my communication.

  Went through raw footage for commercials and the feature documentary Whirlybird and condensed the footage down to selects for the lead editors to work with. Was in close communication with lead editors whenever specific footage was needed and went through drives to verify all the footage that we needed was accounted for. Partook in test screenings and contributed to feedback/critiques of the cuts being screened.
