  Ambari • Worked as committer and PMC on the Apache Ambari project, a management and monitoring tool for Hadoop. • Developed Ambari Views, a framework for extending Ambari that offers a systematic way to plug-in UI capabilities, resource types and APIs to surface custom visualization, management and monitoring features. • Was one of the initial developers of the Ambari REST APIs, which facilitate the management and monitoring of the resources of a Hadoop cluster. • Created the SPIs used for plugging in the Ambari resource and metrics providers. • Developed Ambari admin framework for users/group permissions including associated APIs and integration into Ambari Views. • Worked on LDAP integration for authentication including APIs for synchronization and setup utility. HK2 is a service registry and injection engine that serves as the foundation for the Glassfish application server. • Responsibilities include the development of services in HK2 along with the application of the services in Glassfish. Coherence Transactional Caches • Served as developer on Coherence Transaction Framework to provide transactional guarantees for Coherence distributed cache. • Implemented Coherence transactional cache functionality on top of the TransactionFramework including queries, indexes, aggregators and entry processors. • Wrote fully compliant XAResource and JCA Resource Adapter for Coherence using the Transaction Framework. Coherence Core • Designed and implemented Coherence Explain Plan / Trace feature to provide an estimated or actual cost of executing a query against a Coherence data grid. • Designed and implemented conditional indexing and user defined indexing in Coherence allowing users to write custom indexes and determine which entries are added to an index. • Implemented indexing for Local and Replicated Caches. OC4J JCA Container • Worked on the Connection Management and the Transaction Management contracts. • Worked to developed connection proxies to provide for transactional correctness, lazy transaction enlistment and reassociatable connection handles. OC4J Datasources • Rewrote the Datasource component for OC4J as a JCA resource adapter. • Designed and implemented connection proxies using BCEL / ASM byte code manipulation to provide method interception for proper transaction enlistment.
