Started the Enterprise Graduate scheme in November 2017 in the Bath branch. During my time in Bath I was a leader in service and sales, during my traineeship I was instrumental in developing the Bath branch into a regional flagship branch, one of the most profitable in the South West. After 8 months I was promoted and then became Assistant Manager of the Bridgwater branch, where I achieved success in sales, customer service and employee development. I was a multi-skilled, high performing member of the insurance and breakdown cover sales team. With commission gained on each sale, I created my own success. Naturally, this role required a working knowledge of FCA and Data Protection regulations as well as excellent customer service skills. I worked in three TK Maxx stores over a four year period (Leeds, Newcastle and Byker), having started whist studying for my A-Levels in Leeds and continuing throughout my degree in Newcastle. A highly trained and valued associate, working for TJX Europe allowed me to develop my skills in customer service. In Byker I played a key role in a tight-knit team, which often involved informally training and mentoring new starters. I have a great deal of experience working in retail. which will stay with me forever and underpin my future professional success.

Undergraduate Researcher/ Company Historian
-
Apr 2015 - Jul 2015
I undertook an undergraduate placement project with the North Star Housing Group, researching and producing a written history of the organisation which was celebrating it's tenth anniversary. Focusing on the Local Voluntary Stock Transfer from which the group was born, the history traced the roots of North Star's two constituent organisations; a rural district council (now known as Teesdale Housing Association) and the Endeavour Housing Association right back to the 1970s. The document currently comprises an important part of North Star's literature for incoming board members.
