      Project Officer: SOGIESC UnitAssociate: Communications and AdvocacyIn my role as a Project Officer for the SOGIESC Unit, I am responsible for leading the unit's research and advocacy on South African related issues, particularly through awareness campaigns and engagement with national bodies, equality courts, and with community based organisations. During my tenure, I participated in assisting with the creation of year long campaign focusing on African Migrants named #AfricanMigrantsMatter. I worked on advocacy projects including a documentary for the campaign. I also assisted with equality court cases with the SOGIESC Unit under the supervision of Mr Geoffrey Ogwaro.
