Sr. Fire Protection Engineer Responsibilities: - Preparing & Reviewing of Design Shop Drawings / Cost Estimation for complete Fire Fighting system as per NFPA standards, UAE Fire safety code & Local Civil Defense requirements. Preparing the Emergency Lighting Lux Level Calculations. (Relux and Dialux Software) Preparing the Hydraulic Calculation for Fire Protection System (Canute Software) Preparing the technical excellence for the design and supervision of the Fire Protection systems to local and international standards. I am responsible for providing technical expertise and delivering the technical aspects of a project. I am responsible for ensuring that technical standards are current in the design and supervision documentation. I provide technical input to client proposals and project planning. Raising Post tender RFIs to the Consultant. Floating of enquiry, fair price / market analysis, negotiation and selection of contractor / vendors. Attend the Client/Consultant meetings to discuss the Design and Specification issues if any. Preparing / Reviewing material submittals & Compliance statements to meet the consultant’s requirement. Detailed working on value Engineering/cost reduction methods. Conducting inspections for all type of fire protection, fire alarm, emergency lighting system installation, Testing & Commissioning. Preparing the Technical reports as per Regulations for New / Old building Fire protection systems. Preparing the Method of Statement / Risk assessment / ITP Check List for fire protection systems.
