 As part of the Academic Year Program, I travelled to Germany and successfully completed an Engineering Internship at Continental Tyres (Continental AG), the world's fourth-largest tyre manufacturer and leading German automotive manufacturing company. Worked collaboratively with Engineers across the organisation while demonstrating my Engineering skills and knowledge, and gained hands-on experience with various IT and computer-based services. Involved with reading, writing and preparation of their Machine Equipment Standard. Achievements included:o Successfully programming of a Resource Management tool, an online system, which enabled more accurate project planning while ensuring it was more user-friendly;o Delivering a Training Presentation to all Engineering personnel on the proper and effective use of the Resource Management Tool in order to significantly enhance operations within the organisation;o Implementation of an Automatic Identification System (AIS) utilised for product registration;o Implementation of a Geo-Localisation System for accurate and timely tracking of material carriers.
