I know Professor Thilaga Porchelvan as an excellent coach and open for the unexpected. I enjoyed her hospitality and warm-hearted welcome and was overwhelmed by the skills of her students. I appreciate immensely her skills around emotional intelligences as I witnessed in the coaching class that I visited. I am honoured having been hosted in presenting to the HR Students EI from my point of experience as a horse coaching facilitator, coach and consultant. We since then stay in contact for internationally Co-Coaching events. I wish you all the best for a successful future in full time coaching, facilitating and training.

I have known Thilaga Porchelvan since the days of studentship when she pursued M A - Social Work, specializing in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. She then attended a Workshop which I facilitated for the batch of 1998, at D G Vaishnav College, Chennai. As a student, I vividly recall sensing a special spark and holding immense promise of a budding HR professional. After initiating a career spread over around 2 years in the corporate life, she chose to answer a big calling in life, to don the role of a Teacher, when her alma mater invited her. She exceled in this role for 22+ years. I have interacted with Thilaga innumerable times, when she held the role of Assistant Professor in the Social Work Department of D G Vaishnav College. With admirable professional panache, she adorned the strong faculty team. On several occasions when I was invited by the department of Social Work, to render guest lectures, facilitate workshops and as Panelist for their annual events TANTHRA, the students to whom I imparted HR professional inputs, held Thilaga in high esteem. The adoration which the students across several batches showered on her was of high-quality order. Not just the students, but also the alumni who passed out of the Social Work – HR streams over the last two decades, poured tremendous respect. I have been fortunate to listen from the students and alumni about the positive and long-term influence, she had on them. This speaks volumes about her persona and professional acumen. Thilaga attended public corporate workshops facilitated by me [during the last ten years], which focused on themes like Inspired Passion, Influencing, Emotional Intelligence and Reflective Practice. As a participant, she not only exhibited learning appetite but also connected with co-learners who were mostly corporate leaders, with utmost ease and poise, indicative of abilities to build rapport, relationships and belief in the gains of networking and growth. Noticeable were also traits she radiated like high degree of positive and infectious energy, cheerful disposition, empathy and warmth. I earnestly wish Thilaga all the very best and power ahead with a major career transition choice, as she recently embarked upon to empower executives and leaders in the corporate world, while taking on the roles of Consultant and Trainer. With the rich background and expertise to back, she is destined to definitely impact and transform whom she trains and coaches.
