Framing and streamlining the inbound logistics from global vendors. Taking into account efficiency, maximizing cashflow and minimizing environmental impact. By transforming the supply chain and stock model, a 80% reduction in transportation cost was achieved. Besides the lead time and delivery accuracy was improved. Internship in the Department of Supply Chain, responsible for developing a demand planning and MRP tool for a freshly aqcuired plant in India. Besides also involved in setting up an orginazational flow chart for a multicompany cooperation. • Building an highly advanced Excel demand planning tool to calculate a 18 month forecast using different statistical calculations, based on historical data. • Connecting the monthly finished product forecast to the MRP tool, giving a purchase requisition per raw material/per day, based on different MOQ'S, Lead Times and Saftey Stocks. • Visit to local office in Pune, India to implement the tool and explain usage to the end users. • Mapping the cooperation between 3 international companies, getting a good understanding in the business processes. • Analysis and solution development fora business process in Egypt, regarding deviation in sales forecast and actual sales. • Introduction to SAP (self-study) • Various introductory SAP trainings Show less
