Designer of an experimental test : the efficiency of video interfaces in the context of education

Completed project :In the context of a research work for the University of Mons, I worked on the creation of an experimental test on the use of video sequences in learning: what are the yields of the different types of interfaces, what are the trends and correlations in terms of efficiency? The project took place in higher education institutions in Wallonia (Belgium), from March 2019 to August 2019, in collaboration with the Internal Services for Prevention and Protection at Work (SIPPT). As part of the project to raise students' awareness of safety and prevention measures in schools, I set up an experimental factorial-type device with 7 independent variables that will not only educate students about safety at school, but will also allow scientific measurements and analyses of the effectiveness of different configurations of learning interfaces using video sequences. The aim was to determine, in the learning process, what brings certain technical-pedagogical navigational aids when combined with video sequences. To this end I created an interactive computer experimental device allowing the collection of data from more than 200 users. I highlighted the theoretical links with more than 250 existing scientific resources. I conducted a commented analysis of the statistical data collected. I considered possible extensions within the framework of an eLearning functionality. The tools that have been used will mainly be TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, SocialSkip, ExCel, Youtube.

My work at the "75" consisted of passing on important insights about the improvement of digitized photographs for offset printing, and also to bring color management skills with the ICC profiles (ColorSync, ICM).
