I teach the team "In shape for birth" where I help pregnant women to get a stronger body and greater body awareness. The training consists on conditioning strength, stretching and breathing. As a teacher for this team, I become even sharper in my role as an instructor and I gain solid experience with training of pregnant women. In addition, I get an insight into the physical discomforts that pregnancy can cause and how physical activity can counter these. I was an instructor for a various of pensionist teams and a Morbus Bechterew team. I shifted beteween beeing in the pool togehter with the teams or on the edge of the pool. The training focused on general mobility and involved elements of cardio training, strength training, flexibility training, balance training and cooperative exercises. Exercises were performed both with and without tools. The weekly training gave the participants increased mobility, better fitness and overall more strength in the body. In addition, the training was pain-relieving for some participants and gave them a social network. Show less
