Collaborated across departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing practices and processes resulting in clean claims, reduction in DNFB and accounts receivables, and significant cash flow. Led DNFB task force in 2018 resulting in successful DNFB reductions by 7.9 days and over $29 Million dollars. Cerner CPA implementation 11/2019, drove the build of claim data and essential CORE data values required to meet industry and payer specific requirements resulting in exceeding monthly billing goals in September 2020 significantly, clean claim rates out of Cerner to clearinghouse averaging 95 - 98%, and denial rates reduced to approx. 8%. Interviewed, hired, conducted departmental orientation and competency tests, and annual performance evaluations. Set goals and implemented plans and schedules, evaluated and managed staff by counseling, training, coaching and developing staff to maximize individual potential and work performance. Show less
