Selected Achievements • Developed and implemented the annual budget process and controls for the operating budget of approximately $4 million, which includes monthly reviews and projections. -Created and co-led a strategic planning session using cash flow scenarios to plan for the sustainability of the organization. -Directed the organization in a plan to reduce budgeted operating expenses 7% for 2014 and an additional projected 7% for 2015. -Successfully negotiated with banks to secure a $5.5 million dollar construction loan for the new headquarters. -Co-led the project team on the construction of the new headquarters. -Led the retail team in successfully reducing labor costs from 33% to 18% of gross sales over a period of two years, while increasing our net income from 5% to 16% during that same period. -Developed standard internal financial reports, with financial analysis, for reporting to the Board of Directors. -Led the team that identified and developed reports focusing on KPIs, using data from the past five years to analyze trends, to be used for strategic planning sessions and budget preparation. -Identified the need for or improvement on internal controls and led the team to improve and develop those controls across the organization. -Developed the first finance manual, including a flowchart for policies and procedures. -Developed and presented the first business presentation to approximately 120 staff and volunteers at our Annual Meeting. -Led the team that identified the need for and directed the move to Office 365 and Office 2013 in the summer of 2014. -Successfully completed the audit for the Council in 2011 through 2014 that did not result in any material weakness issues.

Selected Achievements: • Worked with management of two portfolio companies to assist them in achieving full reporting status with SEC and list them on the OTC exchange by assisting in the various SEC required reports. • Establish and implemented accounting policies and procedures for approximately 4 portfolio companies. • Assisted the portfolio companies in the implementation of QuickBooks accounting. • Played a key role in the team responsible for bringing a direct response (infomercial) product from development to market by working with inventors, developers, manufacturers, customs and freight agents, warehousing, call centers and all other related parties.
