Gave lectures and walking tours to children and their parents about insects, nature, and conservation. Coordinated and tracked the delivery of insects. Designed and maintained signage for the updated butterfly house and developed new ways to interact with our insects, such as a large glass aquarium where children could watch monarch caterpillars eat, go into a chrysalis stage, and emerge into adult butterflies. Managed zoo volunteers who signed up to work in the Butterfly Garden.
