At Love for Lily, our mission is to Empower, Support, Connect families both in and out of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our programs are focused on families currently in the hospital (NICULove, 2012), families who have been discharged (Post-NICU support, 2017) and grief support (Love, Camden and Friends, 2018). Love for Lily began on Mother's Day 2012, just 6 months after founder Sahra and her husband Ted Cahoon said goodbye to their daughter, Lily, born at 24 weeks. Since 2012, Love for Lily has supported over 4750 families, given out over 4500 Essentials bags stuffed with items that can provide a little comfort and ease the burden of life in the NICU, provided over $50,000 in grants, and supported over 40 families through the death of their baby. I would love to connect with companies and individuals who are interested in supporting our organization and helping us to continue to support families during their baby(ies) NICU journey.
