In this project we, a team of 6 engineering students, operate with the members of FABCITY to conduct a pre-feasibility study for a plastic waste recycling project in Montpellier. In this project we, a team of 6 engineering students, operate with the members of FABCITY to conduct a pre-feasibility study for a plastic waste recycling project in Montpellier. First of all, we collected information (by going directly to the different actors). Then, we proposed two quantified solutions with return on investment time. Also, we built a prototype of a plastic shredder, which is a key part of our recycling solutions. As once again project manager on this mission, my main role was: to draw the roadmap (we were in total autonomy along the project), to find solutions quickly to adapt to the obstacles encountered and to organize a simple and clear methodology for data collection.
