The Negotiation Club has been an amazing opportunity in more ways than one. Confidence, observation, patience and creativity were some of the most fundamental an essential skills I was able to develop on the course and use not only in negotiations but also day to day encounters. I most recently utilised the skills, knowledge, and techniques gained on the course successfully in a commercial negotiation as part of a commercial awareness competition. Without the practice with TNC I would not have felt prepared and confident which ultimately helped me to place 5th in the competition. I cannot thank Phil or recommend him enough - if you get the opportunity to take part in the course, do it! They were fun and engaging, and you could feel yourself develop and get better with each practice. It’s also great going back into conversations in everyday life and having the techniques to negotiate yourself the best deal! Thank you Phil!

Цього року українські студенти освітньої магістерської програми "#Психологія_перемовин_та_медіація", що реалізується на базі #Західноукраїнського_національного_університету, мали унікальну нагоду попрактикувати з допомогою інноваційного авторського інструментарію пана Брауна «Negotiation Cards», що слугує для моделювання ситуацій ведення бізнес-перемовин та вироблення навичок у цій сфері. Цікаво, легко та у доступній ігровій формі учасники опановували практику і тактику ведення перемовин, виробляли навички спостереження у перемовинах, осягали мистецтво багатоваріантних перемовин. Неймовірно, але ця методика дозволяє за дуже короткий час осягнути великий масив інформації та виробити власний унікальний стиль ведення перемовин. Проте найбільшою знахідкою для нас став сам спікер - пан Філіп Браун - чудовий експерт з перемовин та дуже добра і порядна людина. I have worked with Phil for around two years. His sessions have been a great addition to our portfolio of additional extra-curricular events we run for our PG students at Nottingham Business School. He spends time working with you to understand the student audience and their needs. He fashions sessions to suit these needs by co-creating the sessions with you. Sessions are always over-subscribed, with students reporting being both curious and nervous at the same time, as Phil puts them through real-time negotiations. I would highly recommend the Negotiation Club to any other HEIs who are looking to improve student confidence and competence around negotiation and influencing- key requirements of the modern day manager/ leader.
