At Seatgull, I helped build tools to make course enrollment and registration easier for students so they could focus on what actually matters. Some of the most popular tools are the schedule generation algorithm - which provides all the different combinations of schedules a student can have based on their preferred classes - and course notifications - which notifies students when a class they're interested in is available. • Worked on an application with other students to provide an easy and efficient way to enroll for classes • Using Rust’s Actix framework to create a fast, asynchronous backend while providing a responsive front-end with React • Designed & created a course scheduler connected to 60 universities with over 850,000 students through React.js • Spearheaded Reddit marketing by creating posts on 20+ subreddits and reached out to 50+ content creators on Instagram Show less
