Working on the project titled "Development of on-bike technology to capture objective and subjective measures of cyclist safety" funded by Australian Federal Office of Road Safety.1. Simulating near-miss events involving cyclists using Unreal game engine and Carla simulator.2. Prototyping a hardware design solution to capture various on-bike sensor data (stereo-camera, IMU, GPS etc).3. Researching and formulating computer vision and machine learning solutions to classify near-miss events in the above created datasets Show less

Worked on four research and industry projects.Industry project 01: Built a prototype collision avoidance system for industrial mobile platforms, for the industry partner, Flexible Drive. Nvidia TX2 based protype used a modified Single-Shot Multi-Box detector (SSD) and stere depth estimation. System automatically generate reports on near-collision incidents. Provided a technical documentation.Industry project 02: Completed for Australian Meat Processing Cooperation, to classify beef items placed on a conveyor belt. Used deep learning-based image classification techniques to classify the beef items. The system is lightweight and was implemented on an Android phone with real-time classification capability.Research project 01: A deep learning-abased few-shot image classification algorithm was formulated using a PCA-like (Principal Component Analysis) autoencoder with a custom loss function.Research project 02: Graph neural network-based motion segmentation algorithm was formulated to segment camouflaged animals.
