Water and Sanitation Program Support- Lead role in coordinating information related to program implementation. - Assist the Water & Sanitation Delegates in providing technical support and sharing information about the implementation of the projects in Sri Lanka. - Assure that implementation of all Watsan projects is well planned and monitored. - Develop tools and meet regularly with project staff to ensure implementation issues are identified, documented and brought to the attention of the project /program delegates. - Help identify solutions and strategies to identify and mitigate project delays.- Assure that field reporting for the projects are correctly implemented and assist the water and sanitation delegates in preparing program reports, including data entry and analysis. - Lead role in coordinating, maintaining and following up with the project close-out plans.- Assist project staff in developing tools to assure correct field reporting procedures are properly implemented and required data bank for monitoring and evaluation of project output is accurately maintained in a proper data base.Information Technology (IT) - Identify staff capacity of all American Red Cross staff; develop and implement a program of continuous IT learning. - Chair and lead an internal IT working group (ITWG), conduct regular meetings, keep minutes and ensure that its recommendations are communicated to senior management for decisions. Follow up on decisions by maintaining current and historical detailed implementation plan on decisions taken. - Support management by communicating with staff in updating new IT issues and assisting with changes in IT policies, uses, needs, etc. - Cost, propose and implement new IT initiatives as recommended by the IT WG in coordination with IT Consultant and Administration & Operations delegate.
