  - Work directly with New Balance Product Development about process and effective transition of footwear designs from prototyping to production. - Manage and be responsible for all development stage from initial to commercialization stage ( 1st proto, 2nd proto, Line CFM, Pre-Line CFM, Sale Sample, Extreme, Full size, Production CFM) - Review new tech pack from NBPD with NBVN and pattern engineer (PE) to transmit all information to proceed to make shell pattern, technical application process and implementation of new technology in development. - Support to recommend and specify about materials, component and construction option with the same quality but still keep performance integrity, and meet NB quality as well as standard. - Work with the creation team and factory costing, development, engineering and production teams to identify and leverage potential manufacturing efficiencies to drive reduced product cost. - Get knowledge about supplier capability, quality issues, material price, and lead time to produce and ship. - Communicate with internal depts for ordering material, costing sheets, bonding process flow chart: BPFC, upper materials testing, opening new tooling - Control workshop to make sure they will work right direction (materials, cutting, technical applications and processes, stitching, stock-fit, assembly…) to get highest quality and ensure to ship samples on time each developing stage. - Ensure quality and color of material as well as shoes before going to production through Lab test, fitting, trial, - Make and update Upper and Sole Specification on NB's system for approval - Control, inspect and solve all problem and issues in making sample shoes - Make a smooth transfer from development to mass production.
