As members of the Marketing Department, we are required to attract and inform RMIT students on events such as Recruitment, Debate Competition, Club Day, Mini games, Training and Educational knowledge about the debating world. We hold a weekly meeting on Teams platform to discuss content, theme, format and ideas on attracting and helping more students. After finalizing the amount of posts for a period of time, we must send our content 2 days before posting for proofreading to minimize mistakes… Show more As members of the Marketing Department, we are required to attract and inform RMIT students on events such as Recruitment, Debate Competition, Club Day, Mini games, Training and Educational knowledge about the debating world. We hold a weekly meeting on Teams platform to discuss content, theme, format and ideas on attracting and helping more students. After finalizing the amount of posts for a period of time, we must send our content 2 days before posting for proofreading to minimize mistakes, wrong themes or poor choice of words. It is also our responsibility to check which trend works and which trend is inappropriate or overdue to be consistent. A second proofreading after posting is also necessary, the faster the mistakes get discovered, the lesser chance of losing or causing discomfort to our viewers. We benefit from Debate Training, as we are a part of SGS Debate Club with the same burning passion for letting our voice heard.
