The Solidarity Fund was established with a clear mandate aimed at having maximum impact through rapid and coordinated action. The purpose of Fund is to mobilise and coordinate financial and in-kind contributions from all South Africans and members of the international community with the task of distributing these contributions to effectively combat the health crisis and the social and humanitarian consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a Program Manager my responsibilities include management, oversight, strategic direction, and implementation of the behavior change communication program for the Solidarity Fund. I have developed detailed implementation plans for national Covid-19 behavior change communication interventions ensuring high quality and timely delivery of interventions against intended objectives and targets.
