It was a wonderful experience to have met and be friends with Thalles during his semester exchange at the National University of Singapore (NUS). My initial impression of him was that he was (and he still is) very professional as a student in a business-related background. This was due to his immaculate business attire compared to other students who were donned in casual T-shirts and jeans, during our first around the campus tour event for exchange students. Indeed, as a student of business administration and financial markets, Thalles carries himself professionally in his daily attire of button-shirt, pants and leather shoes on campus even though there was no such dress code required. In Singapore, he utilized every opportunity to improve himself and stay updated in the business realm by attending networking events and representing his company through local and international conferences. His curiosity and knowledge on various topics such as business, financial markets, technology, artificial intelligence, and sustainability have allowed him to remain competitive that sets him apart from the pack and offer unique insights. For example, his contribution towards my project through an online conversation on consumers' opinion towards cultivated meat was one of the most insightful and enjoyable conversations that I have ever had with such that I was able to produce an incredibly detailed analysis beyond my expectation.
