Thalia was responsible for developing the ‘State of the World Report 2012: on Sustainable Infrastructure’ for the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). This was the product of a global review on sustainability assessment tools in the infrastructure sector. 60 sustainability assessment tools were reviewed for the Water & Wastewater, Energy, Buildings & Transport sectors and the report included guidelines for determination of their quality. This presented a review of sustainability assessment tools employed in the infrastructure sector globally including: - Sustainability Decision-Support tools; - Rating & Certification tools; - Calculators; - Sustainability Guidelines. Thalia also co-authored the ‘Infrastructure Resilience in Disasters’ section for a Foresight publication on ‘Improving Future Disaster Anticipation and Resilience’. Show less
