Bio
John Wetherill
Thad is in a class by himself: I can't believe his ability to multi-task, and his capacity to get work done. It seems like he produces the work of five people. I'm not sure how he does it: maybe he doesn't sleep, or maybe he's cloned himself, but no matter, he gets way more done than is humanly possible. He's also caring and compassionate and I've seen first-hand that he takes care of his team, and always responds to the constant flood of requests in a professional and positive manner. I'll truly miss working with Thad and know that anyone would be very lucky to have Thad on their team.

Thad has a phrase he uses often: "do the needful". And Thad has always lived that ideal. His technological prowess, his outgoing nature, and his dedication led him to take on more and more responsibilities without ever buckling under the load. He's done an outstanding job across all his areas of responsibility, broadly called the "systems engineering team". He's led his own team and others by example, becoming a center of expertise for multiple areas from DB to installers to operating systems and platforms, illustrating what it means to always be there for the team and the customer, always listening and always learning. His limits have not yet been found by anyone, at least to my knowledge. And on top of it all he's the instigator, organizer and nexus of most team activities. Recommend him? Absolutely and unequivocally. It would be a pleasure to work together again.
