I have writen and Illustrated many childern’s books and was the first place winner of B'nai Brith's Diverse Minds book competition, created to promote the values of diversity and inclusion through storytelling and illustration. The book that I wrote and illustrated has been professionally published and has been distributed to Toronto elementary schools and libraries. In addition, the first place prize included a $3000 scholarship. This incredible experience has guided me in the further development of invaluable skills including perseverance, courage, and creativity. And most important to me, I have been able to share a meaningful message to the youth in my community. Show less

The key leadership role on the council, coordinating the work of the group and liaising with the staff advisor, senior advisor, and Hart House. Directly working to promote advocacy, civic engagement and community connection. I have lead and worked on The CITY Project; Climate Impacts On Toronto Youth. This was a contest where youth submitted art and photographs that show their experiences or perspectives on the climate change and it’s impacts on Toronto. See the exhibit here: https://harthouse.ca/events/talking-walls-climate-impacts-on-toronto-youth The Hart House Youth Advisory Council "brings youth together to work towards collective goals and projects, and share their perspectives, thoughts, and insight that may shape the future of Hart House."
